On Saturday, September 18, Dr. Jesse Ross of Ross Family Chiropractic held Kids Day America/International™ along with other chiropractic offices across the world. It was a special day dedicated to children’s health, safety and environmental awareness.
The Low Country Antique Tractor and Engine Association provided complimentary hay rides and carried thousands of parents and children to Mary Ader park for free food and beverages, children’s games, jump castles, reptile exhibits, magicians, fire trucks, face painting, fishing a silent auction full of toys, travel and entertainment, spine and scoliosis screenings, dental screenings, and much more.
The City of Charleston Environmental Education area offered educational sessions, children’s activities, reptiles, other creatures from nature, recycling and a fishing area. Channel 5 had their weatherboards and each child had the opportunity to play meteorologist for the day!
WTMA’s Low Country radio celebrity Richard Todd and Sunny 96.9 broadcasted from the site and gave away prizes donated from sponsors.
The event was a huge success! Participants and sponsors shared in helping ASCEND make ending cancer a national priority. Thank you to all who participated! A special thanks to Dr. Jesse Ross, Denise and everyone at Ross Family Chiropractic for their support!
