Prevent Cancer

Early detection is good. Primary prevention is better!

There are many things that you can do to help decrease your chance of getting cancer. Of course quitting smoking, eating better and exercising more are the obvious means.

In recent years, the research has begun to catch up with the truth: as many as two-thirds of all cancer deaths could be prevented through diet and lifestyle changes. In simple numbers, that is 400,000 deaths each year in America and as many as 4 million deaths worldwide.

Yes, we know what you’re thinking, “Please, let it be anything but eating healthy and exercising! If only Big Macs and french fries were ‘health foods’! ” Unfortunately, they are not. In fact, those high fat foods contribute to an increased risk of getting many types of cancers along with an array of other serious health consequences.

There have been smokers who defiantly have said when asked why they don’t quit smoking, “ Ah, heck, you’ve got to die from something.” These people all change their tunes when it is too late and they are now dying from lung cancer.

There is no more horrifying and painfully slow death than a death from cancer. Please consider the following facts and then read on for some simple, easy to do lifestyle and diet strategies that could save your life! Learn simple changes you can make to your daily routine that will help you prevent cancer. Steps you can take to give yourself the best chance of never getting cancer:
  1. Don’t Smoke.
