ACS Best Chance Network Provides Cancer Screening for South Carolina Women
Congress has appropriated funds for the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program since 1991. Through this appropriation, the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) received a $3.1 million annual award from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for women’s cancer screening. The funding provides breast and cervical cancer screening for women in South Carolina through a prgoram known as the Best Chance Network (BCN).

The Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation is a cancer prevention health foundation whose mission is the prevention and early detection of cancer through scientific research and education.
